Multi-storey housing 01 –    3-8 storeys

The dwelling is designed to fit into traditional perimeter block structures within the dense urban fabric.

The intention is to provide good and, hopefully, affordable homes for the city’s residents, supporting a socially mixed urban environment.

As a timber construction, it can be built up to six storeys with highly flexible floor plan configurations.

The rooms on either side of the centrally placed staircase are flexible spaces that can be allocated partly to both apartments or assigned entirely to one unit.

This allows for simple variation in apartment sizes.

The project is envisioned in sustainable timber modules or flat elements – with a minimum DGNB Gold certification.

The façade solutions are inspired by our project in Fælledby for PensionDanmark and ScandiByg.
