ONV COVER – House for Sports, Scouts, Common House, etc.

We aim to offer affordable and flexible spaces for the many associations—from football clubs to scout groups—that are so often relegated to the poorest buildings across the country. The concept is an attempt to utilise timber and steel in the most optimal way.

Timber forms the structural basis through large room‑sized modules produced in the factory, while steel acts as the defining and shelter‑giving material on the roof and ridge.

The concept is built from prefabricated room‑sized elements, fully completed at the factory.

These elements are covered by a galvanised trapezoidal steel sheet.

The sheets are used in their simplest form, creating both the roof and the ridge.

The construction remains visible, leaving no doubt about the function of the steel plates.

The trapezoidal sheets are placed on transverse purlins and rest on the underlying modules.

The plates serve a dual purpose: they protect the building beneath and simultaneously create a covered terrace.

The concept is highly flexible and can be adapted to most needs—from a small cabin in the forest to a larger clubhouse for a football association.

Built in Valby and Helsinge in collaboration with Vinderup Træbyg.
